Stop stressing about choosing right and start enjoying your perfect wine!

Long before sommelier certificates and code development, my relationship with wine was a finger dipped in my father's glass and the sun of childhood grape harvests. It was something pure, everyday and shared. But as I grew up, that pleasure transformed into something else: a barrier of technical jargon and supermarket aisles that generated more vertigo than enjoyment.
I found myself too many times facing indecipherable restaurant menus and labels that seemed written for others. I felt that to drink well today, I had to be an expert yesterday. I resented feeling conditioned by a price or a bombastic name. That's why I decided to train as a Sommelier at the "Wine and Spirits Education Trust" (WSET). I loved doing it, but I discovered something: the fun part wasn't just learning, but sharing it.
Instagram showed me that my frustration was shared by thousands. I started giving advice one-on-one, but soon understood that human criteria doesn't scale without an ally. In January 2026, I left everything to create Somelye: a technology that is not a cold questionnaire, but a conversation that translates all the rules of haute sommellerie into an exact recommendation for you.
My role today is that of an orchestra conductor. I travel to fairs and wineries with a very clear filter: if a wine is destined to be just another one on a supermarket shelf, it's not for Somelye. I look for rarities, projects with soul and wines of the highest quality that deserve to be discovered. I reject the commercial to make room for the authentic.
